Stan Peterson
Stan Peterson is woodcarver, artist and teller of tales. His carved wooden sculptures are fables left for the viewer to interpret. Stan studied art and architecture at the University of Oregon in Eugene and went on to earn his B.A. in Fine Art at Portland State in Portland, Oregon. He has a Masters in Special Education from Western States College in Monmouth, Oregon and has spent many years teaching at Creative Growth.

Stan has shown in the Bay Area since 1986 with the Virginia Breier Gallery and has galleries in Portland Oregon and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
