This Collaboration between Kay Bradner and Charles Hobson is a consideration of the right of way rules for sailing vessels. The central image in the book is a three foot square relief print that was created as part of a program at the San Francisco Center for the Book. It was originally printed in 2005 by a steamroller at Carolina and 16th Street in San Francisco. Kay Bradner and Charles Hobson collaborated on the design of the print. Kay Bradner cut the linoleum block and printed the relief prints Rives BFK 300 gram paper. Charles Hobson designed the book with the assistance of Alice Shaw in an edition of 12 copies.

This book has been made from a relief print which at first seems to show a pleasant Sunday afternoon of sailing. However, the position of the sailboats is established to illustrate the most basic right of way rules. The rules themselves are embedded in small window openings cut into the print.
